Hey Firefox users, I am getting all kinds of weird results from my wife's website and I'm trying to get some testing done to see what is up.
I've tried it on multiple machines with multiple versions of firefox and they all display the same way (messed up). IE works fine. I got to http://browershots.org and they look fine. So, can you guys open http://www.sourcesalonandspa.com/ and see if it opens something like this: -Rov Last edited by Rovinare; 11-05-2009 at 05:35 PM. |

I tried this on IE8, Firefox and Safari and they all looked like the screenshot. The only exception is on my screen (all 3 browsers) there is a solid color border around what you are showing in the screenshot.

Mine looks like that, Rov.
A good looking site too, for its simplistic design. I like it. |

Looks good for me. I love the flowers that pop up when you scroll over the links at the bottom. Very nice looking page.

If you can describe the problem you're seeing, that may help. Looks fine in Chrome and FF to me. But if you can create a bug during debugging, it's best not to assume that you're FF is the only one that will botch it. Once it goes live, it will magically F up on every FF installation. It's some law of the webs.
Can I have an SS of your FF problem, or an SS of your BFF JTT KKTY? Woah. Wut |

Looks fine in FF to me, though it does have a solid border, but it's a complimentary color so it works out!

THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU ASKED, but here it is anyway:
Don't use an iframe. There doesn't seem to be a good reason for you to use it on the site and it creates usability issues. It's commonly discouraged. Use text/images more appropriately. (eg. the footer text shouldn't be an image, same with the front page description paragraph) Reduce the width from 1025px to preferably 960-980px. You'd probably be better off reducing some of the overall height as well -- approximately 190px would probably work. People shouldn't have to scroll to see a menu. Throw most scripts at the bottom of the page for faster loading. I'd recommend using PNG instead of GIF in the future, but it's not incredibly important in most situations. Nice colors and design. I would probably choose to make the "r" and "e" of "Source" the same color as the rest of the letters, but that's my personal preference. I was going to say there was a cut-off issue with your content, but apparently you used a leaf instead of a scrollbar for your scrolling. This is neat, but really unintuitive and most visitors will miss it. Create a better indicator that there's more content and how to scroll OR drop the leaf scrollbar.
