Default Ding! Windows 7!

Heya guildies!

I just got Windows 7! I formatted my harddrive, and now Im trying to get things back... Re-Installing WoW is a hassle...

Anyways, anyone have any tips for me or little cool things that make Windows 7 so great? If so, please tell me!

By the way, I just realized there was too many la's in my name. Fail? I think so.

To see some of the new features check out the 7 second demos here:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...eos-tours.aspx

There are more in-depth videos/tours available from that site as well.

Enjoy!

This is why I always wait until the first Service pack to upgrade my rigs, Its going to get pricey this time around, 4 computers in the house, Might roll my Vista license over to my 2 XP boxes, and up my Vista's to 7. It wont be long until Windows stops supporting XP now.

Here's a tip for reinstalling WoW. WoW doesn't make any registry setting to your PC, so all you need to do is backup your current WoW directory to an external source, and copy it back into the new PC. No need for patching, or resetting any of your addons.

Yeah, it was interesting, Randy and Scott talked about this on the Instance how essentially, if you had enough space, you could run WoW from a thumbdrive. I thought it was interesting (too bad USB2.0 bus speeds wont allow for a viable transfer bus to actually do so)

Not for USB, but I bet you could from an ESATA device.

I recommend Leatrix Latency Fix. When I ran this it dropped my ping from about 300ms to ~125ms.

I've been wowing from Windows 7 since the beta builds, nice, stable, smooth and fast.

I personally have 0 ping problems on my box and it's wireless.
