So far, I'm quite enjoying the more thoughtful approach to multi-mobs, as opposed to any of my plate wearers who just run in, AoE and profit. I'm finding groups of up to 4 fairly easy to deal with, since I can Sap one, Blind & Gouge #3 & #4 while #2 is Cheap Shotted, and then slaughter at my convenience. The only issue I'm having is that either Blind or Gouge sometimes applies a dose of Deadly Poison, which causes it to break and ruin my cunning plan. I'm not sure if that's something that just happens, or if it's a result of me accidentally right-clicking to select them by mistake. Rather annoying either way.
All the links provided have been quite useful, though they seem to be focused on 5-man/raiding rotations, since every single one of them mentions SnD as a key part of the rotation, yet I find things die slower (and thus hit me more) when I go for SnD instead of just getting to 4/5 points right off the bat and Envenom/Eviscerating. Or maybe that all changes at some point past 62. :P Edit: And if anyone has any tips on dealing with damage shields, that'd be nice. Those things hurt my poor fast hitting rogue...

I agree with the SnD rotations, they are primarily for instances and raids... however... if you are dealing with multiple mobs... and are able to carry out a SnD on the first mob you kill... the SnD timer will carry on to other mobs... which makes you attacks faster... which gives you faster poison procs... which gives you a faster rate to envenom a target... so I say the first target get your SnD up... and the others Mutilate/Envenom... |
